My research shows an upward boom in the rise of gun sales after Obama discussed gun control. This graph also shows the spike in searches related to the president in November 2016 during the election. Over the last 14 years, all states in the country aside from New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island have been more interested in firearms rather than the president. The last graph shows that the Bay Area is more interested in the president, but other parts of California are more interested in firearms. After my research I have concluded that sadly, Obama's measures to promote gun control effictively provided a spike in gun sales, and a great majority of the country is more interested in firearms than the president. Overview.
